Hajimemashite! Promo (SPEEDPAINT)
Okay...I screwed the start of my drawing part and saved it the wrong way so that parts gone...but I got the last part of the drawing and all the painting in, so that's good. Now that I look at it, the painting was a bit sloppy XD but I suck at photoshop anyways. Hopefully I'll get better by the next time around... Song: Lucky Star Douga Okay, so Hajimemashite! has been my manga project since about last year around this time. For a long time though I've wanted to do a manga about stuff that has happened to me. But I didn't have the commitment to make a full-blown manga about myself...Then I watched Lucky Star and learned about the awesomeness of 4-panel (or 4-koma) manga, which is humorous and easy to do! That' when Hajimemashite! was born! Hajimemashite! is a christian 4-panel manga that combines real-life events and fictional ones. Some of the fiction comes from teh fact that I write the story as if I'm in Japan and I'm not. But most of the fiction comes from the three characters I've drawn here. From left to right, they are : Nozomu Tsutsui, Hanako Kobayashi, and Kumi Hayashibara. But they are also me. See...When I was doing character designs I realized that if I made one character to represent me they would be a marysue (if you don't understand the popular fanfiction term, consult me, please) or be framed as a Konata Izumi impersonator.
